Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake/てつおじさんのチーズケーキ

Located inside the Westfield Santa Anita Mall, right next to ‘The Backhouse’ is ‘Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake’. They sell the famous jiggle cheesecake and other pastries such as Cheese tarts.

ウェストフィールドサンタアニタモールで「ダーバックハウス」の隣に「てつおじさんのチーズケーキ」です。 有名な揺さぶるのチーズケーキと他のパンを売って、例えば、チーズタルトです。

The jiggle cheesecakes had a soft, light, and moist texture that makes you melt with each bite. The original flavor taste reminded me of a Filipino pastry called Butter Mamon. They offer the Japanese Cheesecake in Matcha, Coffee, and limited Summer time, Strawberry.

揺さぶるのチーズケーキは柔らかくて、フワフワでした。食べた時、素晴らしい経験でした。オリジナル日本のチーズケーキはフィリピンのパンのバターマモンの味のような味だと思います。日本のチーズケーキの抹茶とコーヒーの味があって、夏の時間にイチゴ味もあります。

Tetsuhi Mizokami founded ‘Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake’ in Hakata, Japan; since then, Uncle Tetsu’s’ cheesecake has spread internationally. The Japanese Cheesecake combines the American Cheesecake and the French Soufflés. The Original Cheesecake whole cake was $9.50; total price including tax was $11. It is a good size amount for a group or eat it all yourself~

They had Matcha flavored samples, and those had a good Matcha flavor with the soft and moist of the Japanese cheesecake. If you’re in the area of an ‘Uncle Tetsu’, I recommend you to stop by and try it out!
