SomiSomi/ソミソミ

Several locations in California, 'SomiSomi' is a soft serve dessert shop. I visited the soft serve stand inside the Westfield Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia.

カリフォルニアに多くの場所で「ソミソミ」があって、「ソミソミ」はソフトクリームデザート店です。アルカディアのウェストフィールドサンタアニタモールの「ソミソミ」に行きました。

You can buy the ice cream with a Taiyaki, a Japanese pastry, as the cone. In Korea, it's called 'Ah-Boong(아붕)'. The difference between Taiyaki and Ah-Boong is that you grill Taiyaki while you roast Ah-Boong. You can also just buy the Taiyaki with Red Bean inside or other flavors.

たい焼きでアイスクリームを買えます。韓国で 'たい焼き' は 'アーボオング' を呼びます。たい焼きとアーボオングの違うは作り方です。たい焼きを焼きしてで、アーボオングはオーブンでローストをします。そして、普通なたい焼きを買えて、たい焼きの中にあんこ味や他の味を選べます。

At 'SomiSomi', you choose the flavor ice cream and filling you want inside the Taiyaki. When you pick it up, they will ask what toppings you would like on your ice cream. It's a cute, instagram worthy picture. Different areas might offer more flavors than other 'SomiSomi'. shops, so try one near you~
