Monja and Okonomiyaki/もんじゃとお好み焼きの

My friend and I went to Tsukishima (Moon Island).  It is popularly known for Monjayaki and Okonomiyaki.  It is a street filled with many Monja and Okonomiyaki restaurant.
月島へ友達と一緒に行っていました。月島は有名でもんじゃ焼きとお好み焼きです。道に多いもんじゃとお好み焼きのレストランがあります。

Monjayaki, also known as 'Monja' is a popular meal.  You cook Monjayaki yourself like how you cook Okonomiyaki, but it is thinner and liquified then Okonomiyaki.  You first place your topping and make it into a circle with a hole in the middle.  Next, you place the rest of the ingredients in the middle, than you mix all together.  You spread it out so it is thin, and than you eat it using small spatula directly from the pan.  We ordered the Cheese Monja.  Even though it doesn't look pretty, it taste delicious~

Next is Okonomiyaki, it's like Japanese pizza, but you make it like a pancake by flipping it.  You mix all the ingredients together and place it on the grill to cook.  Once cooked, you can cut into pieces and place on your plate to eat.  We ordered the Pork Okonomiyaki.  You can place other ingredients on top like Mayo, dried squid, and nori.  It's easy to make okonomiyaki at home.

The shop I went to had a cute wooden Rabbit statue holding the small Monja spatula.
