Yabu: Tonkatsu Restaurantヤブ：豚カツレストラン

In SM MegaMall in Manila, we ate lunch at a restaurant known for Tonkatsu, Pork cutlet, a Japanese dish that is usually fried meat or fish in Panko.  

マニラのSMメガモールでお昼ご飯を食べて、ヤブという豚カツのレストランに行きました。豚カツは日本の食事で、パン粉に肉や魚を焼きます。

I ordered Pork Tonkatsu with Cheese inside.  The meat was nice and tender with the nice cheese.  At Yabu, the sets come with free refill of salad, rice, fruits, and Miso soup.  

マニラのSMメガモールでお昼ご飯を食べて、ヤブという豚カツのレストランに行きました。豚カツは日本の食事で、パン粉に肉や魚を焼きます。私は豚カツの中にチーズを注文しました。肉は柔らかくて、いいなチーズでした。ヤブで、サラダとご飯と果物とみそスープは無料のレフィルをしています。

 

We also ordered Korokke Tamago as an appetizer.  Korokke is Croquette made of Potato and sometimes has ingredients like corn.  Tamago(Egg) is cooked in the middle of the dish.  Once you slice through, the yolk spreads over the creamy potato.  It also has pieces of Nori(Seaweed) on top which adds more flavor to the dish.  Probably my favorite dish.

そして、コロッケ卵を注文して、コロッケはジャガイモやコーンを作っています。コロッケの中に卵があって、上にノリがあります。一番好きな食事だかもしれません。

My mom ordered Chicken Katsudon with Tonkatsu on top of rice bowl with a sunny side up egg on top.  The employees were very nice and helpful.  The decoration in the restaurant was pleasing to see.
母は鳥肉カツ丼を注文して、ご飯の上に豚カツと卵があります。従業員はとても優しくて手を手伝いました。レストランのデコレーションはきれいでした。
