Omoide/思い出

I went to this Japanese Restaurant called Omoide.  It has a really nice atmosphere and looks much different from other Japanese Restaurants I've been to.  They have the usual counter, but it's quite a small section.
日本のレストランと言う「思い出」に行って初めてです。良いな空気があります。日本のレストランのほうが違うな場所です。普通なブースがあってですが、少し小さいです。

At first I thought the name meant 'Heavy' since Omoi means Heavy in Japanese, but when I saw the word Omoide in kanji I realized it means likes to Reminisce or to remember memories. Hehe~
レストランの名前を見て初めての時に、おもいでの意味は重いだと思いました。しかし、レストランの名前は漢字で書いた見ました。おもいでは思い出を気がついて時に、名前の意味を分かります。

They have a variety of food to choose from: Udon, Ramen, Gyuudon (Meat Bowl), etc.  My friends and I chose this place to try their ramen.
うどんやラーメンや牛丼があります。わたしはラーメンを注文しました。

Tonkatsu Miso Ramen/とんかつのみそラーメン

I had the Tonkatsu Miso while my other friends had the regular Tonkatsu. (To find out the difference between the broths, check my entry 'Sora Ramen'.  I explain more about the difference between ramen broths.) The ramen had the usually meat, bamboo, and seaweed.  It also consist of thin type of noodles.  Overall, it was delicious~  It tasted similar to other Ramen restaurants I've been too.
私はとんかつのみそラーメンを注文しました。二人の友達は普通とんかつラーメンを注文しました。ラーメンは普通な肉とたけとのりがあります。ヌードルはほそみです。美味しかったです～味はラーメン店の味のようです。
