Matcha Café Maiko/抹茶カフェまりこ

Matcha Café Maiko replaces Snow White Café to create a Hawaiian-Japanese mix café serving various Matcha desserts.  They serve Soft cream, Floats, Latte, etc. They have a few different tea flavors, but Matcha dominates the menu.

「スノーホワイトカフェ」を閉めたが、今、所へ「抹茶カフェまいこ」があります。ハワイアンと日本のカフェで色々な抹茶デザートを売っています。例えば、ソフトクリームやフロートやラッテがあります。他のお茶の味がありますが、メインポイントは抹茶です。

My friend bought a Hojicha Frappe. Hojicha is a Japanese green tea, but it is different because the Hojicha roast over charcoal while most Japanese teas are steamed. I read that Hojicha taste a bit like roasted coffee.

友達はほじちゃフラッペを買いました。ほじちゃは日本の抹茶ですが、作り方のは違います。普通に抹茶をゆでるのが、ほじちゃはチャコールの上にほうじます。ほじちゃの味はコーヒのようだそうです。

Another friend, and I bought the Matcha Shaved Ice which has Soft Cream on top, underneath has Matcha shaved ice with Red Beans, two Mochi, and a chestnut. It’s a pretty big dessert so you can either share or eat it all by yourself like I did~

他の友達と私は抹茶かき氷を買いました。抹茶かき氷はソフトクリームと下に抹茶氷と小豆と二つのもちとくりがあります。かき氷は大きくて、友達と一緒に食べられて、とか、自分で全部食べられます。

Matcha Café Maiko is a cute, bright place to talk amongst friends. All the desserts we tried were delicious. They also have a place to charge your phone, a mini space to use props in taking pictures while enjoying delicious Matcha~
